To Be Continued

All about books that I started, not finished, yet still deserve a list (mainly for the lovely cover). It’s comforting to edit this ever-growing list, which means, optimistically, I have stopped being the “start then compiled to finish” weirdo.

The Botany of Desire – A Plant’s-Eye View of the World  by Michael Pollan

Calling Dr. Laura – A Graphic Memoir  by Nicole J. Georges

Finally gave up after a tentative third trying.

Awatea and the Kawa Gang  by Fraser Smith

The Golden Hour  by Beatriz Williams

The Girl Who Reads on the Métro  by Christine Féret-Fleury

Audio book by Ros Schwartz

Your Money or Your Life  by Vicki Robin & Joe Dominguez

Part one is nice enough, yet all other parts are plain tool to handle the steps.

The Drunken Botanist – The Plants That Create the World’s Great Drinks  by Amy Stewart

This book has quite a special perspective of plants and wine recipes, yet too many unfamiliar words for me.

Emotional Intelligence – Why It Can Matter More Than IQ  by Daniel Goleman

This five-star book just is not my type.

How We Met  by Michele A’Court

Stories may mean much more for the teller rather than listeners.

Umbrella Academy, Volume 1- Apocalypse Suite  by Gerard Way & Various

Things That Bother Me – Death, Freedom, the Self, Etc.  by Galen Strawson

I love all chapter titles yet is is a bit too professional philosophical for me.

Women Rowing North – navigating Life’s Currents and Flourishing As We Age  by Mary Pipher

James K. Baxter Poems

Sold on a Monday  by Kristina McMorris

Solo  by Jill Mansell

The Mysterious Benedict Society  by Trenton Lee Stewart

Audiobook read by Del Roy

Love the way it begins.

Game: Mr. Lemoncello’s Indoor-Outdoor Scavenger Hunt

Love the cover, only the cover.

Easy reading

Into the Wilderness by Sara Donati

The Rosie Project by  Graeme Simsion

The Night Ocean  by Paul La Farge

I didn’t read this book at all because it’s a thriller actually. The cover is just magic. It actually glows when moved at whatever direction, totally amazing.

Truly Madly Guilty  by Liane Moriarty

Well both the cover and the title are really attracting, but even after 7 chapters I was still honestly bewildered what is this novel about.
