The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan
I can always remember this movie for its dark and sad feeling for Chinese women. It’s pretty cool for the writer to express how the western values conflict with Chinese ones, shown in daily and emotionally differences between mothers and daughters. It’s even astonishing to get to know the stories of mothers with all my native culture background.
