Sapiens-A Brief History of Humankind  by Yuval Noah Harari

& Audiobook read by Derek Perkins

This book is really bold,  provocative and lovely. Yet it seems that westerners or rather, people who grow up in different cultures, cannot really understand Chinese culture and Chinese people. The idea of a huge bulk of people who can do a lot of bad things but would rather choose not to do may seen unrealistic to westerners, but in practical, the Chinese people are just interested in doing their own affairs, you don’t ever think of invading or things aggressive like that so there isn’t any choice involved at all .Chinese are not born aggressive and grow up tamed by culture that extremely admires mild personalities. Why can’t people just accept that human beings are born to be different, and it’s actually OK we stay that way?
