Break Free

Well everybody dies in the end after struggling to break free or convincing oneself not to struggle because of “responsibility”.

Katherine, half Canadian and half Chinese -her mother and her struggled through 1950’s hostile – married and had children – the husband  got addicted and constantly stay somewhere other than home

Mahsa Weaver, half American and half Afghani – parents murdered by her uncle and lived with relative – study in Canada-  forced into an arranged marriage – had children

Mahsa met with Katherine  and shared a friendship and their husbands and themselves all died in the end.
