Humanity

The Giver by Lois Lowry

This book belongs to the ones that once begin, I can read all the way through ending. The cover of this book was confusing at first, but when finished through it,  the clues would be clearer. It cannot be classified precisely as a science fiction or an anti-utopia. It seems more as a warning for attention for things that we take for grated, even emotions such as sad and anger, all those things destined to be felt but not told.

Highlight: Jonas the Receiver, Gabriel the baby, went through so much struggle until they arrived  the dream and memory that belongs to Jonas himself ,the snow, the hill, the sled, finally found themselves in a life with color and emotions and humanity. While the Giver himself chose to stay for responsibility.
