Confusion

Again, but Better  by Christine Riccio
Audio book by Brittany Pressley

I don’t like this book. Honestly you don’t walk into other person’s relationships as a third person deliberately and wrap the unmoral selfish affair as romantic. You just don’t. Americans do have weird values. For me they are not always serious enough on actual matters. Cheating in a relationship is nothing a big deal? It always is.

When talking about travelling-through-time novels, I do have a say. I have read tens of dozens very nice ones on the Chinese website, and these ones are not even listed as professional writers’ work.

The anti-Intellectualism in the USA has come into my view during my overseas staying and culture-shock observing. It seems that a cute/popular/cool boyfriend builds confidence for a teenage or colleague girl by too much portion. Why is it that getting straight As to be uncool. Being able to be focused on a task shall (and used to ?) be a very proud thing for a kid. It doesn’t make sense to me as America was made great from its innovative inheritance in science and technology. America gained its influence around the globe because the early generations laid ground for science, not that they were good at parties or sports. I couldn’t but feel that the younger ones are not grateful for their advantages and act like the world will remain the same. The world changes, all the time. They just don’t get it. The anti-Intellectualism is literally my second biggest confusion regarding USA, while the biggest one is why Trump.
